Marvel Comics has confirmed that Dan Slott’s Spectacular Spider-Man: Brand New Day will extend its run to at least issue #10, alongside the launch of a new crossover miniseries written by Kevin Smith.

The ongoing series, illustrated by Marcus To, was initially solicited for a shorter run but will now continue through the end of the year. Beginning with issue #6, the title transitions into its 'Big Time' storyline as part of the publisher's ongoing editorial roadmap leading toward the character's 50th-anniversary milestone.
Theological Crossover Launch
Simultaneously, the publisher has released Spider-Man/Hulk: Fire and Brimstone #1. Co-written by Kevin Smith and Andy McElfresh with interior art by R.B. Silva, the debut issue establishes a premise centered on Bruce Banner attempting to control the Hulk through a religious exorcism.
These concurrent projects signal an expanded publishing footprint for Peter Parker across both solo titles and shared-universe crossovers, providing a distinct theological angle for the Hulk dynamic.
