Epic Games has scheduled the launch of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, titled Override, for August 20, 2026, running through November 5, 2026. The upcoming update brings a crossover event integrating multiple gaming franchises, headlined by significant additions from Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 Crossover Integration
The update features a Night City-inspired map transformation alongside specific character and weapon additions. Players can acquire the Male V skin, the HJSH-18 Masamune AR, and the TKI-20 Shingen Dual SMGs. According to data leaks, a Porsche 911 Turbo vehicle cosmetic is also slated for inclusion during the season.
Expanded Franchise Collaborations
Beyond Cyberpunk 2077, the season incorporates content from Sonic the Hedgehog, featuring Green Hill Zone platforming mechanics. Additional franchises represented include Crash Bandicoot, Persona 5's Joker, Mega Man, Spyro, Raiden, Kitana, Lara Croft, Geralt of Rivia, and Pac-Man. These collaborations introduce themed areas and mechanical adjustments tied to each property.
The content drops simultaneously across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, the newly released Nintendo Switch 2, PC, iOS, and Android platforms on August 20.
