Lucasfilm and The LEGO Group have released the official trailer for LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian, an animated special slated for a September 2, 2026 release on Disney+. The project condenses the first three seasons of the live-action series into a comedic, brick-built format.
Voice Cast and Production Team
The special features a core creative team led by director Chris Buckley and writer Michael Price. The production brings back major voice actors from the live-action series to reprise their roles in LEGO form.
The voice cast includes Gavin Hammon as Din Djarin and David Acord as Grogu. They are joined by returning talent Carl Lumbly, Amy Sedaris, Bill Burr, Katee Sackhoff, Giancarlo Esposito, and Rosario Dawson.
Release Schedule
Disney+ will stream the special exclusively starting September 2, 2026. Ahead of the wide digital release, an early screening is scheduled for August 15 at the D23 convention, giving attendees the first look at the completed project.
The project continues the ongoing collaboration between Lucasfilm and The LEGO Group, adapting prestige television properties into standalone, family-oriented comedic specials.
