Stormind Games has scheduled the release of Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy for the Nintendo Switch 2 on October 27, 2026. The launch coincides with updated framework details regarding the My Nintendo rewards ecosystem for the platform.
Production and Launch Details
The upcoming survival horror title features voice performances by Cissy Jones and Maggie Robertson, alongside an original score composed by Akira Yamaoka. Development is finalized for the Switch 2 architecture ahead of the late October release window, positioning the game as a key platform title for the autumn release schedule.
My Nintendo Points Framework
Concurrent with the game's release date announcement, Nintendo outlined the current mechanics for the My Nintendo loyalty program on the new hardware. Platinum Points remain fully active, allowing users to accrue currency through specific console missions, targeted web browsing activities, and mobile titles such as Fire Emblem Heroes.
These accumulated Platinum Points can be redeemed directly for digital profile icons and physical merchandise items through the official store. Conversely, the legacy Gold Points system has been officially discontinued across the network, shifting the focus entirely to Platinum Point engagement for rewards.
The October 27 release date establishes the timeline for both the software rollout and the application of the updated Platinum Points redemption options on the Nintendo Switch 2 hardware.
