The third season of The Apothecary Diaries anime will premiere on October 2, 2026, alongside a new promotional trailer and key visual released by the production team.
Split-Cours and Cast Additions
The upcoming season will air across two split cours. The first half begins on October 2, 2026, and the second half is scheduled to arrive in April 2027. Voice actress Reina Ueda joins the cast for this installment as Bai Niangniang. Musical duo Yorushika provides the opening theme song, titled "Kumo o Nukekazashimo e Watashidake".
Theatrical Film Release
In addition to the television broadcast, an original theatrical film is slated to premiere in Japanese theaters on December 11, 2026.
The simultaneous rollout of the split-course television series and the December feature film means the franchise will maintain a continuous presence in theaters and on screens through the first half of 2027.
