Production and Creative Direction
The feature will not be a comedy. The narrative focuses on suspense and action elements.
"It's like kind of suspense and action, and I think it's going to be a lot of fun... You're following Duke and a group of other Joes... There's that town in the comic, Springfield, which is a town that's secretly all Cobra, and so that is where our film takes place"

The movie has no connection to previous franchise entries or the planned Transformers crossover. Production is currently in the casting phase. Filming will not begin until at least next summer because of Cooper's work on an Ocean's Eleven prequel. Paramount has not announced a full cast or a theatrical release date.
