Disney has officially greenlit Spidey and His Amazing Friends for a seventh season, expanding its preschool-focused Marvel animated slate well into late-decade broadcast windows alongside a broader transmedia push that includes new television specials and video game expansions.
Broadcast Roadmap and Streaming Milestones
The seventh-season renewal arrives as the series passes 1.3 billion hours streamed on Disney+. Production schedules place Season 6 for a 2027 premiere, with Season 7 following in 2028. Prior to those sequential rollouts, Disney+ will premiere a themed Halloween special titled Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up! on September 24, 2026. Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump, who provides the show's theme music, and HAIM bassist Este Haim contribute both original voice acting performances and musical compositions to the special.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion DLC Integration
Complementing the television updates, publisher Dotemu confirmed development on a new expansion for Marvel Cosmic Invasion. Titled The Siege of Castle Doom, the downloadable content pack is scheduled for release this fall.
