Sony terminates Ternox Games agreement, removing 13 titles from PS Store

Sony has unilaterally terminated its developer and publishing agreement with independent studio Ternox Games, resulting in the removal of 13 titles from the PlayStation Store and the cancellation of the upcoming release Stonks-9800.

Developer Agreement Revoked

Operated by Ruslan Salikov, Ternox Games confirmed that Sony cut ties without providing an official explanation or responding to subsequent inquiries. The sudden termination blocks the launch of Stonks-9800 on PlayStation platforms. In addition to the unreleased title, the takedown affects a dozen previously published games in the studio's catalog, including Nexoria, Retro Highway, and Scrap Divers.

Multiplatform Pivot

Faced with the complete removal from Sony’s storefront, the studio is redirecting its resources toward alternative platforms. Ternox Games confirmed it will self-publish Stonks-9800 on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox, where digital and physical releases remain scheduled.

Players who already own the affected games on PlayStation will retain access to their libraries, but no new purchases of the 13 catalog titles or Stonks-9800 will be possible on the PlayStation Store moving forward.
