Twitch CEO Dan Clancy stated during an interview with Bloomberg that multiplayer for Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to arrive in 2027. Take-Two Interactive confirmed at its virtual Annual Meeting of Shareholders that the upcoming title will focus on single-player gameplay at launch, while current online operations continue independently.

Take-Two Interactive stated that the current GTA Online will receive ongoing support past the new game's rollout. Rockstar has not released any official statements about a PC version or multiplayer timing.

Creator Engagement Plans
Clancy discussed interactions between his platform and the game developer regarding upcoming content strategies for streamers.
"We spent a lot of time talking with Rockstar about their plans, and also helping them think about how they can engage our creators. You are going to see this big bump with GTA 6, but then an even bigger one next year when they launch multiplayer."
