Developer HOUND13 has confirmed that DragonSword: Awakening is targeted for a Nintendo Switch 2 release, though the port currently lacks a definitive launch window while the studio completes necessary technical and licensing steps. Simultaneously, the roguelike tower defense title Tower Dominion has officially debuted on the standard Nintendo Switch eShop alongside a dedicated launch trailer.
DragonSword Switch 2 Requirements
Bringing DragonSword: Awakening to Nintendo's next-generation hardware depends on three remaining hurdles: formal approval of developer status, the adaptation of the game's Unreal Engine 5 framework, and passing official Lotcheck quality assurance certification. Because these pipeline requirements remain in progress, HOUND13 has not committed to a release schedule for the action RPG.
Tower Dominion Content Scope
In contrast to the longer-term outlook for DragonSword, Tower Dominion is available immediately on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The release introduces a dense strategic feature set built around a modular map system and five distinct difficulty levels. Players manage three playable factions utilizing 30 heroes, 22 enemy types, over 70 buildings, 50 weapons, and 180 tactical doctrines.
The simultaneous updates highlight contrasting production stages across these platform strategies, moving an established catalog title directly to current hardware while early porting efforts continue for upcoming systems.
