Microsoft has detailed the Xbox Game Pass lineup for the final weeks of August and the beginning of September 2026, featuring a schedule of nine incoming titles and six departing games across console and PC tiers.
Upcoming Game Pass Additions
The service begins its late-August wave on August 19 with the releases of Vapor World: Over the Mind, BlazBlue Entropy Effect X, and Relooted. They are followed on August 20 by Starsand Island.
The schedule continues on August 25 with Aerial_Knight’s DropShot and Blood Dungeon. Highlighting the late-month drops is Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy on August 27, alongside Young Suns on August 31. Shelldiver closes out the initial September schedule on September 1.
Departures From the Library
Six games will leave the platform over the next several weeks. Another Crab’s Treasure, I Am Your Beast, Neon Abyss, One Lonely Outpost, and The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt Remastered Edition exit the service on August 31. They will be followed by NBA 2K26 on September 6.
Subscribers can access the incoming titles at no additional cost according to their specific membership tier—Ultimate, Premium, or PC Game Pass—on the specified release dates. Titles leaving the service will no longer be playable through Game Pass once their respective removal dates pass, though digital storefront discounts remain available for users wishing to purchase them permanently.
