Microsoft has detailed the upcoming software releases heading to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass for the week of August 18, 2026.
August 18 Releases
The weekly rollout begins on August 18 with four titles arriving simultaneously across supported platforms: Backyard Baseball, The Sinking City 2, Archerio, and Driving Is Hard.
Mid-Week Additions
The schedule continues on August 19 with the release of Hamster Corporation's Arcade Archives 2 CYBER CYCLES. On August 20, Mortal Shell II launches globally. Players who purchase the Devout Edition of Mortal Shell II receive up to 72 hours of advanced access, allowing them to start playing on August 17.
Platform support for these releases spans Microsoft's current ecosystem, utilizing Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere features on selected titles to bridge Xbox consoles and PC hardware.
