ASUS, Disney, and independent developer Fancy Factory have converged on hardware, remaster, and indie software announcements impacting the Xbox ecosystem this August.
ROG Xbox Ally X20 and KABOOMANIA
ASUS has revealed the ROG Xbox Ally X20 handheld console to mark ROG's 20th anniversary. The hardware features a 7.4-inch 120Hz OLED display, an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, and a transparent chassis. GAME has opened notification sign-ups for the device, which will also be offered in a bundle with ROG XREAL R1 240Hz AR glasses.
Concurrently, Fancy Factory released KABOOMANIA across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Commodore Amiga systems. Priced at $9.90 / €9.90, the retro maze-bomber includes an original soundtrack by composer Chris Huelsbeck and will receive a physical disk release for Amiga systems at a later date.
Toy Story 3 Remaster Schedule
Disney has scheduled the release of Toy Story 3: The Complete Edition for October 15, 2026, on Xbox Series X|S at a price of $20. The launch precedes the delisting of the original Xbox 360 version of Toy Story 3 from the digital storefront on September 29, 2026.
Users who purchased the original Xbox 360 release prior to the delisting date retain their digital access. New purchasers will be required to buy the $20 remaster starting in October.
